Neurology & Art
I recently found this lecture given by Ramachandran. He explains what it is about art that captures our attention. This lecture brings up a lot of great insight for artists and art appreciators.

A closer look at the same pose. I notice that #art is a lot like writing. The rough sketch is the idea. The second sketch is like the initial edit. The more I draw the same #sketch the more solid the ideas become. I bet the pros know this, but I am just discovering the power of a redraw. #art #artist #sketchbook #drawingvia Instagram
A #gouache #colorstudy using the same pallet. This is an attempt to do an imaginary #landscape and play with #composition. I like atmospheric environments. This is my base to begin thinking about entire scenes and not just the single item drawings that I have been doing. #art #artist #sketchvia Instagram
