The diagnosis is in and I am happy to report that it is great news. My little girl has a bone infection! A month ago, I would have been very upset about such a diagnosis. Today I am completely thrilled with this news.
Like many others, our financial budget for Christmas is the lowest we have seen in years. Our spirits are going to have to make up the difference. With news like this, it isn't going to be as difficult as we first imagined. My oldest son will be home shortly after Christmas, so we will postpone our Christmas until he arrives. We will be together, all 9 of us. Presents or not, that is always a happy event.
I would like to thank everyone for all their wonderful prayers and support. It is hard to describe what that meant for all of us. I know that I will be praying for all those moms, dads and children who were not as fortunate as us and did not get as happy a diagnosis.
I can breath again. It feels good to just breath.
Eternal Wait - I finally quit fidgeting with this one. It is #graphite on 8.5x11 smooth bristol board. It is nice to get something to a finish. No matter where I roam in media, graphite will always be my true love. I will be taking this to #Shakedown3 this weekend if you want to see it in person. #art #artist #drawingvia Instagram
A closer look at the same pose. I notice that #art is a lot like writing. The rough sketch is the idea. The second sketch is like the initial edit. The more I draw the same #sketch the more solid the ideas become. I bet the pros know this, but I am just discovering the power of a redraw. #art #artist #sketchbook #drawingvia Instagram
