Not Dead Yet

Not Dead Yet
6x4 Oil on Canvas

These roses belonged to my daughter Brey. They were way past their prime, but I couldn't resist painting them before we tossed them out. If you are a fan of Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail, then the title probably makes more sense and my humor is much more funny.

I finally got my paint! I have been without it for far too long. I ordered some different colors and was testing them out on this painting. Terra Rosa is much warmer than I thought it would be. I was still able to make it work. I am pleased with this painting, considering I haven't painted in months.

Anna, color back in your life! Nice work on the glass, water, etc.

The dragon is very good, a little dark in the photo.

Good work,
Jo
